I am involved whether I wish to be or not, considering I live in the same home as Lord Yashiki and his paramour.
Currently they are on the roof. I have yet to hear someone be thrown over, so I suspect it is going as reasonably well as can be expected, but I have no advice to give Lord Yashiki and cannot begin to understand the problem happening here.
[THEY WERE LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSE THIS WHOLE TIME? AND HE TEXTED HIM?
if yashiki hadn't given him that love speech already, he would be giving up at this point]
um ok god you dont think the guy will REALLY throw him off the roof for this do you? unless thats actually a problem just let him figure it out he has to talk to him straight up thats it
[after kirk's texts about mary, all of this sounds... that much weirder...]
first of all what do you mean, "face you"? like, metaphorically or literally?
secondly, the problem is that it's not well it's sort of in poor taste i guess? if you have to tell somebody something as important as your feelings you say it to them in person, not over a text message
I can not do much as I could back home, but I believe Lord Mashita still holds a small amount of fear of me.
I suppose it makes more sense to say things in person, but Lord Yashiki is not the kind of man for whom things like that come easily. Lord Mashita should know this.
okay, yashiki's awkward ass aside: why should he be afraid of you if YOU'RE the one calling him "Lord Yashiki"? that usually implies he's in charge of you, not the other way around
Lord Yashiki owns me, yes. I belong to whoever is the head of the family, and currently that someone is Lord Yashiki. It was Lady Saya, his sister, before him.
At home I could not walk or do anything for myself, so my care fell to Lord Yashiki. However, here I am capable of doing such things myself. Lord Yashiki still feels that he must look out for me.
Although it would have been easy for him to do so, he did not rid himself of the burden. So, it is only fair I repay some of that generosity, ridiculous though I may find it.
[HOW DO YOU EVEN INTERPRET THAT IN A WAY THAT ISNT CREEPY]
god that’s so fucked up, what do you MEAN his family owns you?! he’s not taking advantage of you having trouble caring for yourself is he??? do you need help?!
[there are so many exclamation points and question marks here]
I do not need help. I do not know how else to describe it. What about it is confusing to you? I have been watched over by his family for generations and have almost never strayed from them, except when his grandfather loaned me out for use.
But Lord Yashiki has worked to try and overturn the terrible legacy his family has left him with. It's different, and strange, but his efforts to make amends is...appreciated.

But also he likely would not because it would mean having to face me.
I’m afraid I do not understand what the problem was in the first place, nor why Lord Mashita was so angry about it.

Perhaps it's simply people I don't understand.

‘loaned me out for use’]
don’t you think he can make amends by idk NOT owning you anymore
not trying to say you can’t take care of yourself but I’m sure this place has some sort of care home for people your age, they can help you
